Each year in anticipation of the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, the Kiawah Arts Council collaborates with the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs to coordinate a "sneak-peek" concert that offers the audience a taste of what Piccolo Spoleto has to offer! See the 2026 Program below.

The City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs is proud to offer Kiawah Island the following program for the annual Piccolo Spoleto Kiawah Preview Event, the annual festival of music, dance, and fine arts across the city of Charleston, S.C.

The ZD Experience 

The ZD Experience presents a trio ensemble performance blending jazz, soul, and storytelling into a rich, immersive sound. Led by Zandrina Dunning and Stephen Washington, the ensemble delivers powerful vocals, dynamic musicianship, and timeless selections that create both energy and intimacy. Their set offers an inspiring, feel-good experience that invites audiences to connect, reflect, and celebrate the spirit of live music.

Nick Quardokus

This organist and director of the Charleston Symphony Chorus will present selections from the L'Organo Recital Series, which focuses on Americana and interpretations of the “From Here” theme.

Since its launch in 1979, Piccolo Spoleto has been produced and directed by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs. Piccolo’s mission is to provide access to the Spoleto Festival USA experience for everyone, regardless of their economic, social, or physical circumstances, and to provide the opportunity for excellent local and regional artists, writers, and performers to be presented at Spoleto Festival USA through the Piccolo Spoleto Festival venue.
