Willesden 12 Hour Track Relay Entry Mon 4th May

Willesden Sports Centre, Queen's Park Harriers and Track Academy are coming together to lead this unique Relay.

Join us in attempting to set an unofficial World Record for the most people running 400m relay in 12-hours! This fun, unique event is open to all - whether you’re a club runner or just looking for a fun way to get active.

Update! We're counting laps as well. Everyone welcome:

Due to the amazing community support and wanting as many people joining in and being active. Alongside the baton going around lots of others may be running at the same time and we'll be counting how many laps we can do amongst how many runners!? Could this be another record!

If there is a slot free book it (you'll then become a 'Baton Bearer' otherwise you can come along at any time and we'll register you and you'll count your laps.

Why Join?

• Make history by helping set a World Record! (It's unofficial but we'll put your name up in lights!)
• Get active. Willesden Sports Centre are having an open day to coincide so you'll gain access to free exercise classes, swimming, sport taster sessions and more to be announced.
• Enjoy a festival vibe with a bouncey castle, refreshments, music, food and activities for everyone.
• Support Track Academy’s youth programmes - all funds raised go to empowering young people through athletics, education & mentoring.

How It Works:

• Book a 5-minute slot between 8am - 8pm (ages 8yrs+ and free for under 18yrs, £5 per slot for adults) and run at least 400m (one lap).
• Bring friends or teammates - up to 3 people can share a slot to do as many 400m laps in that time.
• Schools, businesses, and groups are encouraged to take part. You can book multiple slots so your whole team can join in.

Impact:

Every ticket to our Willesden 12 Hour Track Relay helps support under served youth. All income from the event goes directly to Track Academy’s youth work, where we see >340 young people (ages 5-23yrs) in a year, 45% from low income families. We blend athletics, education, and mentoring to give young people a trusted adult, a supportive network and the tools to dictate their own future. You don’t just run a lap - you help a young person find their stride.
