CONCERT - Kalyna Choir

Experience a vibrant mix of Ukrainian folk and modern music, brought to life with traditional instruments and heartfelt energy. The Ukrainian community choir KALYNA was founded in 2022 with the support of the Carraig Centre (Ballincollig) within the Ukrainian Community support project.

Set up to provide emotional and spiritual support to Ukrainians with temporary protection in Ireland, the cultural mission of the choir is to preserve Ukrainian traditions and national values, to promote and introduce Ukrainian culture in Ireland, and to learn Irish culture ourselves (through integration and intercultural exchange). Now the choir unites participants from all the parts of Ukraine under temporary protection in Ireland. The choir's repertoire consists of Ukrainian and English-language songs and is now conducted by Tetiana Tymoshenko, originally from Kyiv.
