Industry Experience Week – Performing Arts & Audition Workshop at ArtsEd (London)

⏰ Times: Approximately 10 am–4:30 pm daily

Join Trafalgar Education’s Industry Experience Week at ArtsEd in London from 24th - 28th August 2026.  A five‑day intensive performing arts event designed for young performers aged approximately 8–18 years. Led by professional workshop leaders, this event equips students with audition techniques, scene work, dance, and singing in a carousel of industry-style workshops

Over this week they will work on rephrasing polished songs, dances and scenes that will be produced into a showcase performance at the end of the week. Our Teachers are seasoned professionals, and are experienced with supporting young people in audition preparation and performing arts education. The week is also peppered with masterclasses with visiting West End stars from some of London's biggest shows such as Frozen, Wicked and Six!

The Showcase at the end of the week is performed in the Andrew Lloyd Webber Theatre to an audience of Agents and Casting Directors as well as family and friends.

Layton Williams

Layton Williams began his career as a child actor on the West End, starring as the titular role of Billy Elliot the Musical and Young Michael Jackson in Thriller – Live. As an adult, he went on tour with Rent and Everybody's Talking About Jamie. He won the 2025 Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for his performing in Titanique. He has just been nominated for a Tony award for the same role. 

On television, Williams is known for his roles in the BBC series Beautiful People and Bad Education. He featured in the CBBC documentary series School for Stars, which documented life at the acting school Italia Conti. He also competed on the 2023 series of Strictly Come Dancing with Nikita Kuzmin.

Cost

£420 per child.

When does booking close?
Booking will close once all places are filled or 7 days before the event. We recommend booking early as this event often sells out.

When will I receive all the information for the course?

You will receive a welcome email with full course information, timings, and what to bring approximately 1 week before the event.


Is food provided?

No, students must bring a packed lunch and water bottle each day. We also recommend light snacks for break periods.
