Musicals in Motion - Where Stage Meets Screen

Musicals in Motion is an immersive 5 day experience designed to explore the transformation of stage musicals into cinematic experiences. This is your chance to discover what happens when the bold energy of live theatre meets the precision and intimacy of film. Designed for 11 - 18 year olds, it’s a unique opportunity to step into both worlds and bring performance to life in a whole new way. You will work side-by-side with a professional creative team and live film crew as you rehearse, refine, and record a short musical film. Please note that no previous experience in camera work is required.

📍 Venue: St Mary’s University, Twickenham, TW1 4SX (optional full board accommodation will be available for those who cannot travel daily)

🗓️ Dates: Monday 17 August – Saturday 22 August 2026

⏰ Times: 9am - 5pm daily

💸 Event Fee: £400 (this covers all technical, editing, and creative team costs - accommodation is NOT included and will be charged separately)
