An evening of talks, panels, networking and drinks introducing artists, musicians and music communities to the New Music Economy — an artist-led movement focused on ownership, direct support, new tools and more sustainable ways to build a music career.
The music industry is changing. Artists now have access to tools, platforms and communities that can help them release music, build audiences, fund projects, manage rights, create live experiences and connect directly with supporters without relying entirely on the old industry model.
New Music Economy: Change The Game is an evening of discovery, discussion and networking for musicians, artists, creators, builders, organisers and anyone curious about the future of music.
Hosted by 2140Music at The Tramshed, Woolwich, the event brings together people actively exploring new ways for artists to take more control over their music, shows, distribution, rights, income and creative direction. This is not another generic “how to stream your music” session. It is a practical and accessible introduction to the ideas, tools and communities helping artists become more independent, more connected and more empowered.
Across the evening, you will hear from educators, builders, facilitators and artists working at the edge of the New Music Economy. The focus is on real experience, open conversation and helping more musicians understand what is possible.
Whether you are an artist, producer, DJ, manager, promoter, creative, technologist, music fan or simply curious, this event is for you. Come through, learn, connect and help change the game.
