Transgender Day of Remembrance

Join Trans Aid Cymru, Not A Phase, and friends on Monday 20th November, as we come together to remember those we’ve lost.

At Cardiff National Museum from 6-9pm, in the Main Hall, we’ll be holding space for folks to gather and mingle, listen to speeches from community members, and we’ll be conducting a candlelight vigil and a 2 minute silence.

The rough schedule is as follows:

6 - arrival and mingling

6.30 – introduction & speeches

7.30 - 2 minute silence

7.35 - break/mixer with teas and coffees provided

8.30 - Closing

Refreshments will be provided, and there will be electric tealight candles available on the day for you to use during the vigil.

We ask people to use their own judgement around wearing masks and to be considerate that immunocompromised trans folks may be present. If you feed unwell or test positive for COVID please stay home, so we can keep the community well.
