Transition Cambridge and Cambridge Past Present and Future are partnering to present Water is LOVE as a part of the Rivers of Film Festival.

Join us for an evening of inspiration and education as we celebrate the power of water and our collective responsibility to safeguard this precious resource.

Water is LOVE

"Water Is Love: Ripples of Regeneration" is a poignant documentary that delves into the intricate relationship between communities and their water sources. The film highlights the challenges faced by various communities worldwide in ensuring sustainable water management and showcases inspiring stories of resilience and regeneration.

Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion featuring guest speakers, including local environmental experts and community leaders, who will discuss the themes of the film and answer questions from the audience. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about local water issues and discover how you can contribute to water conservation efforts in your own community.

Transition Cambridge

Transition Cambridge aims to help Cambridge make the transition to ways of life that are more resilient in the face of rising energy prices and a changing climate. We run a series of Sustainability and Transition related films every autumn. Pls visit our website for more inspring films.

'Rivers Of Film' Festival

The 'Rivers Of Film' Festival is part of the River CamCAN Project, a National Lottery-funded initiative for nature and climate action in Cambridge, led by the charity Cambridge Past Present & Future, with partnership from Water Sensitive Cambridge CIC. The film festival explores river and water issues, using the power of film and other art forms to spark watery thoughts, discussions, and actions. Events are held in village halls, community centres, colleges, river banks and other places beyond the bounds of other film festivals, to reach the heart of the community.
