The new Monthly Bioinformatics Seminar series at Manchester is scheduled to launch on 6 Feb 2024.
In response to valuable community feedback and to promote communication and collaboration within the university, this seminar series aims to highlight innovative research taking place in Manchester in the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology. The goal is to foster connections not only among computational biologists but also between researchers in wet and dry lab environments.
Seminar Details
Format: Face-to-face seminars
Time: 6 Feb Tuesday, 11am --12 noon, with a lunch social gathering afterward at the Smith Lounge
Location: Smith Seminar Room, Michael Smith Building, Dover Street.

Call for Speakers
We invite researchers from all facets of computational biology to contribute by giving a 50-minute talk (or two 25-minute talk) followed by Q&A sessions. We particularly encourage Early Career Researchers, including postdocs, fellows, and PhD students, to actively participate and present their work. If you're interested in giving a talk on any of the specified dates, kindly send an email to lijing.lin@manchester.ac.uk or syed.murtuzabaker@manchester.ac.uk with your abstract and preferred date.
