Vineyard tour and wine tasting

Please note this day trip is women only. We’re heading out of the city for a half-day escape to Stanlake Park Wine Estate in Berkshire! Set across a historic 17th-century estate, this relaxed, guided wine tasting takes us behind the scenes of one of England’s oldest wineries. It’s a fantastic opportunity to sample great local wines, explore the vines, and connect with a small group of wine enthusiasts.

📍 The Itinerary

• Meeting Point: London Paddington Station (exact location shared post-booking).
• Outbound: Group train to Twyford station then a short 15-minute walk 
• Activity 1: Guided Wine Tour & Tasting Led by WSET-qualified guides, we'll embark on a 90-minute "taste-as-you-go" tour across the vineyard, fermentation room, barrel cellar, and bottling line. We’ll sample 6 generous pours of English wine along the way—spanning sparkling, whites, rosé, reds, and occasionally orange wines.
• Activity 2 / Lunch : Wine Bar & Garden Social After the tour, we’ll gather at Stanlake Park’s Wine Bar and peaceful courtyard garden. You can order cheese or charcuterie boards, snacks, and additional wine or hot drinks while relaxing with the group.
• The Return: The group walks back to Twyford station together to catch the train home to London (~3 pm return, exact timings shared post booking)

💰 What does your £35 ticket cover?

Your £35 ticket includes full access to the official 90-minute guided vineyard tour, 6 generous wine tastings across the estate, and full group hosting/coordination throughout the day.

⚠️ Other Costs & Logistics to Consider

Your £35 ticket covers your tour registration and hosting. You are responsible for your own train travel and extra food/drinks:

• Train Travel: Approx. £20 – £25 return from London Paddington
• Food & Extra Drinks: Food is not included on the tour itself. Budget roughly £10 – £20 if you plan to order cheese/charcuterie boards or extra drinks at the Wine Bar afterward.

Accessibility & Dietary: The estate and tour route are wheelchair accessible (please notify us upon booking). All wines sampled are 18+ and vegan-friendly.

🌤️ Weather & Postponement Policy

The tour and vineyard walk go ahead in sun or light rain (parts of the tour are indoors across the winery buildings). In the event of severe weather warnings or torrential rain, the event may be postponed.

• Your Fee: If the event is postponed by the organizer, your ticket rolls over to the rescheduled date or can be fully refunded.

📋 Refund & Cancellation Policy

To align with venue booking requirements:

• Full Refund (12+ Days Notice): Full refunds are available up to 12 days before the event date.
• Late Cancellations (Under 12 Days Notice): Cancellations made with less than 12 days' notice are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, as venue ticket commitments are finalised.
• No-Shows: No refunds or reschedules for no-shows on the day.
• Ticket Transfers: If you can no longer make it, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend, just notify us of their name and contact details at least 24 hours prior.
