7 Essential Potions for Witches – 2-Part Workshop

In this online 2-part workshop, Hannah Sanders dives into an intoxicating world where the medicinal meets the magical. From love philtres to healing elixirs, Hannah covers a selection of history’s most notorious potions: Four Thieves Vinegar, Elixir Vitae, Aqua Tofana, Eau D' Arquebusade, Poculum Amatorium, St Paul's Potion, and Confectio Alchermes. Attendees then have the chance to learn how to prepare and blend these in a modern context. 

This is an online 2-part workshop running 6 & 13 October, from 7-9pm. Please note: This is not a beginner’s workshop – some experience working with plants is a must.

Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
