Introduction to Spirit Writing – Online Class

In this in-person class, Hannah Sanders introduces psychography, or automatic writing, an old practice of spirit communication used by witches, mediums and creatives to unblock creative flow and connect with helpful allies. Once claimed by 19th and 20th century spiritualism as a means of contacting the dead, here it's explored as a practice for contemporary communion with the Beloved Dead.

You will need a pen and unlined paper. 

Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
