In this in-person workshop, In this in-person workshop, Bernadette Russell creates rituals to mark the season. Designed for both folks who love the darker months and those who find them difficult, Bernadette weaves together spirits, deities, and wisdom from different parts of the world, and guides attendees through crafting the start of their own ritual to take home.

Bernadette Russell is an author and professional storyteller who has studied myth and folklore with Dr Martin Shaw, Sharon Blackie and Jonathan Huet. She is storyteller-in-residence at Lesnes Abbey Woods, where she hosts Rough Magic, a regular seasonal storytelling event. Her work includes performances and writing for organisations such as the Royal Albert Hall, Tate Britain, the Natural History Museum, the National Theatre and the Southbank Centre – though she is most often found telling stories around a fire in the woods.
