Scrying Skills – Online Workshop

Julian Vayne teaches the skills essential to seeing visions in a crystal ball, black mirror or flame.

In this online workshop, Julian Vayne introduces scrying, and it's varied uses from divination and spirit evocation to inner world exploration. Attendees then learn several practical approaches to developing this ancient skill. Students learn how to induce the altered state required for scrying, using both modern technological approaches and traditional methods.

Please have to hand a black mirror or similar black reflective surface available (e.g. a small bowl of black ink, or a phone or tablet turned off), and low lighting (e.g. dimmable LEDs or candle).

Julian Vayne is an occultist with over 40 years' experience. A regular speaker at events, and facilitator of retreats and workshops, his work is informed by chaos magic, the Western Mystery Tradition, Wicca and eastern mysticism. He is a co-organiser of the psychedelic conference Breaking Convention, a founding member of the post-prohibition think-tank Transform, and sits on the academic board of The Journal of Psychedelic Studies.
