Are you a tarot reader looking to bring depth and mastery to your readings, perhaps even to begin a professional practice?

In this 4-part course, Delphine de la Mar delivers advanced tarot training. In a small, intimate class, students are coached in an array of sophisticated reading techniques including card placement, directionality, linking repeating colours, and the fine art of storytelling. Delphine delves into little-explored themes (such as repeating card landscapes and backdrops), and covers advanced symbolism, discussing the hidden meanings of the moon, water, dogs and other recurring motifs. The group also learns how to 'tell time', create customised spreads, and energetically cleanse a tarot deck. There is even an examination of the differences between intuitive and psychic reading methods.

This is an intensive masterclass from one of the country's most gifted tarot teachers, highly recommended for readers looking to become exceptional at their craft. By the end of the second session, students will have an advanced toolbox for weaving profound and resonant narratives around the cards, and the confidence to deliver truly powerful readings.

Note: This is not a beginner’s course – intermediate tarot knowledge is a must. Please come with a grasp of meanings for all 78 cards and experience of reading spreads. This workshop uses the classic deck of modern esotericism, the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot (created in 1909 by Pamela Colman Smith).

Runs on Sunday evenings: 6pm – 8pm (dates: Feb 21, 28, March 7 and 14th). Please bring a Rider-Waite-Smith style tarot deck. For questions about decks, email onlineshop@treadwells-london.com

Delphine de la Mar started reading in her teens, and brings deep knowledge of the symbolic language of tarot. Her expertise, while grounded in practice, is more widely informed by cross-cultural esoteric studies, a degree in comparative religion and an accomplished professional life in the business world. Beloved for her warm style, her classes always have something playful in them, and never leave participants behind.
