Clockers Con II

Clockers Con returns! A whole venue full of Clocktower running over a Saturday evening and Sunday, featuring all your favourites from the world of Ravenswood Bluff!

The event is made up of two parts—you can attend either or both:

Saturday evening (6pm-10pm)

A smaller number of tickets and a more curated experience, with a welcome drink included and two games over the evening, each featuring a cast member story telling and one playing with you.

Sunday (10am-10pm)

A larger number of players and a more DIY experience, but with many, many hours of Clockers time and loads of cast members around to say hi to, play a game with and grab a selfie with. We will have cast members storytelling in dedicated rooms, with others roaming and joining in games. If you love to storytell, we encourage you to bring a Grim and book games in the app ahead of time.

How much does it cost?

Tickets to the Saturday night are £80, and Sunday is £65. Saturday is priced higher because it's the more curated part of the event, with a smaller number of attendees, planned games with guaranteed cast players and a higher cast to attendee ratio. Sunday is the best bang for your buck, with 12 hours of playing time and lots of opportunities to meet and play with the cast. If you want to come to both Saturday and Sunday, you'll get a £15 discount. We have ten volunteer tickets for the weekend and 20 access tickets for the Sunday for disabled, unwaged, students, pensioners or anyone else who needs it. We will not check your eligibility, so this is purely done on an honour system.

Where?

Theatre Deli is a venue we love - an arts charity that uses buildings that are going to be refurbished or knocked down. They put a lot of effort into supporting artists and we're happy to be able to contribute with a large booking like this! Features include:

• Two quiet chill-out rooms (one on each floor) which we can use for downtime
• A lift and wheelchair accessible
• All gender loos
• Licensed cafe onsite selling drinks and snacks
• 13 separate rooms so that each circle will have its own space 
• Common areas that can also hold games

Please note there is no street parking nearby, but there are excellent public transport connections. Nearest tube stations are Aldgate (5 mins walk), Liverpool St (5 mins walk), Monument and Tower Hill (both 8 mins), and nearest mainline stations are London Bridge (20 mins walk), Liverpool St (obvs), Blackfriars/City Thameslink (25 mins walk), Fenchurch St (4 minutes walk).

We have asked our volunteer team back from last time, but we may need more people - keep your eyes peeled!

Code of conduct

Please note that a code of conduct will be sent to all ticket holders and staff so we can create a safe and respectful environment for everyone in the room. We'll send this out ahead of the date.

Player experience

You're welcome to join if you're a new player, but please familiarise yourself with the Pandemonium Institute's How to Play series. We will ask ticket holders to tell us their experience level with the game on booking and we will put groups into beginner, intermediate and experienced players as best we can. If you're booking for a group, we will keep you in your group. You'll be asked to name the other people in your party.

FAQs

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes! There are wheelchair loos on both floors, ramps and a lift.

Is there parking?

There's no street parking, but there are several nearby paid parking spots, including on Minories, Lower Thames St, and via JustPark. Please note that the location is within London's congestion charge zone, which operates 12pm-6pm on weekends. If you need disabled parking spots, please see the City of London's disabled parking info. (Blue badge holders receive a 100% discount on the congestion charge).

Otherwise, if you're coming from out of town, it might make sense to park at a further-out train station and finish the journey on public transport. We will open a Discord channel for carpooling as well.

Can kids come?

We're happy for kids 10-15 to be accompanied by their parents. Anyone 16+ is welcome to join without supervision, but please make yourself known to us for safeguarding purposes.

What are the food options?

There will be snacks (think: crisps, chocolate, nuts) and drinks (soft drinks, beer/wine and tea/coffee) available in the cafe onsite, and you’re welcome to bring your own food. There are supermarkets close by, as well as plenty of restaurant options in the vicinity and on Deliveroo/Uber Eats.

What if I buy a ticket and but then can't come?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, if the event is sold out and we have a waiting list we may be able to find someone to take the ticket for you so just let us know via hello@playwithtreehouse.com. You're also welcome to sell your ticket onwards (there will be a channel on the Discord to arrange swaps). We just ask that you notify us of name changes. 

What if I need quiet time?

There is a chillout room on each floor available for anyone to take some time out. Additionally, there’s an outdoor space with seating around the corner on Mitre St at end of the street next to St Botolph without Bishopsgate if you want to be outside and stretch your legs.

There are many hotels, with a huge range of both price and quality! Check the Discord channel for accommodation tips and buddy-ups.
