Play Blood on the Clocktower in a Castle
Sun 7 May 2023 9:30 AM - 4:45 PM
Kingswood Arts, SE21 8QN
Description
Love Blood on the Clocktower? Join us for a day of games in the incredible surroundings of London's Kingswood Arts (which we're renaming Ravenswood Castle) with your favourite BOTC YouTubers and streamers! Each game will have a storyteller and a player that you'll recognise from No Rolls Barred or The Pandemonium Institute playing alongside you, including Adam Blampied, Holly Musgrave, Sullivan Beau Brown, Blair Shepperd, Jon Gracey, Ken Cheng, Tilly Steele, Laurie Blake, Isaac Adedoyin-William, Patters, Mara Joy, and Teri Limongi!
Lunch from local restaurant Gipsy Hill Smokehouse is included in the cost of the ticket, and drinks will be available to buy from the bar provided by Kingswood Arts. The venue is accessible by bus and overground train, and there is free parking in the surrounding streets.
Schedule
Arrive at 9:30 for a 9:45 start. We will have three sessions of games in groups of around 13, and we'll cap off the day with all your favourite BOTC rascals playing a game to watch. We'll be out of the venue by 4.45pm.
Pricing
There are a number of costs associated with running the day, including paying the talent, hiring the venue, and catering, so ticket prices are necessarily high so we can ensure an excellent standard for the event.
However, we want to make this event as open to as many people as possible, we have made standard and access price tickets. The tickets are exactly the same, and are there to acknowledge that not everyone has the same access to resources. Allocation is done on an honour system - you don't need to provide any kind of proof, but this is intended for those who are un- or under-employed, who are students, have disabilities, or are otherwise struggling financially. There are 10 access tickets currently available.
Other ways of paying
If you're waiting for pay day and are worried about not being able to get a ticket in case it sells out, you can email us (after tickets go on sale) on hello@playwithtreehouse.com with RESERVATION in the title and the number of tickets and ticket type in the body. As long as you do this before the allocation runs out we will keep tickets aside for you. Please don't email before tickets go on sale so as not to disadvantage anyone buying a ticket after tickets go on sale.
Volunteer tickets
Additionally, we also have four volunteer tickets available. These involve help with setting up and packing down the event plus light duties during the day but you will of course still get to play as well. Please note that some but not all of these jobs include moving chairs so will need people physically able to do that task. However there will be some tasks that don't require lifting. Please email us on hello@playwithtreehouse.com if this sounds like something you'd like to do, and note any relevant experience you have (experience is not required but might help us!)
Accessibility
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet. One of the game stations will be on a mezzanine so please let us know if this will affect you and we'll make sure you're allocated to ground floor games only.
Code of conduct
Please note that a code of conduct will be sent to all ticket holders so we can create a safe and respectful environment for everyone in the room. We'll send this out to ticket holders.
New players
You're welcome to join if you're a new player, but please familiarise yourself with the Pandemonium Institute's How to Play series.
Producers
This event is produced by Treehouse Productions (Jon Gracey and Viv Egan's production company), in association with The Pandemonium Institute.
