Film - “Drawn from Life” (suitable for people aged 15+)

Join us for this BFI-supported compilation of 14 short animated documentary and semi-autobiographical works which celebrate the intimate and the epic - reflecting the lives of the people around us. The works are all made in the UK; two have a North Wales connection. 

Thought provoking and inspiring, using a variety of animation styles, the works shine a light on the creativity of filmmaking in the UK today. This eclectic mix of short films features works by emerging and established award winning animation directors:
Elizabeth Hobbs, Samantha Moore, Mary Martins, Maryam Mohajer, Marcus Leonard Armitage, Isabel Garrett, Sally Pearce, Miranda Peyton Jones, Jessica Ashman, Simon Hamlyn, Lewis Heriz, Carolina Melis, Oran O’Sullivan, Jordan Antonowicz-Behnan. 

Please note: a number of the works deal with challenging moments in life. These experiences are represented with care and consideration towards the contributors and audiences. We therefore consider this programme is suitable for adults and those aged 15 years and over.
