Come and discover a wild and beautiful place with your family this sunny bank holiday. Share our 25 acre ancient woodland with only 5 other families, spend time round the fire, let us cook you lunch, soak up the birdsong and be softly guided back to the things you all love to do with the support of forest school leaders Roxanne and Luke. They'll be invitations like tool work, crafts, cooking and foraging, you can shape those as you like, or just swing in the hammocks and wander the paths, track the otters. Learn how we look after this beautiful place so that you might step on to journeys as stewards of nature yourselves and let us hold you, while you relax. Overnight stay optional, bring your own camping kit.
Who this is for
Family Forest School is designed for families with kids aged 6 – 11, but any willing members of the tribe are more than welcome, from babes in arms to young adults. Let us know who’s coming so we can tailor the experience.
Our leaders are deeply experienced with neurodiversity and learning difficulties; do email us with any questions.
If you’d feel most comfortable with a private experience just for your family, get in touch about bespoke pricing.
Unfortunately we can’t accommodate dogs, due to the delicate balance of wildlife at Wrongs.
No previous outdoor knowhow necessary, but bring what you have, it’s all woven into the magic.
About Wrongs Covert
Wrongs Covert is nestled in the reed beds and ancient woodland cradling the Wensum, 12 miles NW of Norwich, it is both accessible to the city and completely free of city distractions. As a private site there will be no walkers or dogs to distract you from your tasks and each other, you’ll be wrapped in birdsong, rustling leaves and the diversity of flora and fauna that comes from 8 definably different National Vegetation Classifications. Wrongs has been cared for deeply by ecologists and conservationists for 25 years and this care we now extend to you. Your support for the site goes to help maintain this very special working woodland landscape.
