Summer Holiday Forest Adventures - Stream Dipping and Bug Identification

Thu 20 Aug 2026 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Wrongs Covert

Join us this summer for four days of woodland magic, wild skills, and outdoor fun! Each day will introduce a brand-new, hands-on masterclass led by our experienced woodland leaders.

Thursday's activity will be Stream Dipping and Bug Identification, where kids can dive into the secret aquatic and undergrowth world of Wrongs Covert! Armed with nets, pooters and ID charts, we will explore our stream and forest floor to discover the fascinating bugs, nymphs, and critters that call the Wensum Valley ecosystem home.

Every single day at Wrongs Covert kicks off with our core forest community vibe. No matter which day your child joins us, they will experience:

  • Energetic Woodland Games - active team challenges, hide-and-seek among the trees, and icebreakers to make fast friends.

  • Nature Connection - time to slow down, explore the wild flora and fauna, tune into the sights and sounds of the ancient woods, and enjoy free play.

  • The Lunch Circle - gathering together in our leafy base-camp to eat packed lunches and share stories from the morning.
