Green Wood Workshop

Come and play with green wood amongst the trees. Join craftsperson, woodworker and wilderness therapist Spencer Loades for a day of playing at Wrongs Covert. Have a go with a range of woodworking tools under his supervision, work on your own project or get some ideas and support from Spencer to create something new; a hazel whistle, a bowl, a staff, a chopping board, a seasonal wooden mushroom. You can even forage and harvest wood from our woodland to create small items yourself.

Suitable for ages 18 +

Includes all materials. 

Refreshments are provided, please bring a packed lunch.

About your facilitator

Spencer Loades is an experienced bushcraft facilitator and craftsperson. He offers guided experiences, workshops, and classes designed to help people reconnect with themselves and the land. Whether it’s learning practical wilderness skills, slowing down through mindful time in the forest, or finding space for healing and reflection, his goal is to create safe, grounding, and transformative experiences outdoors.

About Wrongs Covert

Wrongs Covert is the perfect place to hone these skills. Nestled in the reed beds and ancient woodland cradling the Wensum, 12 miles NW of Norwich, it is both accessible to the city and completely free of city distractions. Like all wild, magical places, Wrongs resists postcodes! You'll be given What3words, clear directions and info on what to wear and bring on booking. If you can no longer make the date, bookings will be moved to a future course date of your choice. In the event that we don't have further course dates available or you are unable to attend, the course fee can be refunded within 2 weeks in advance of the course date. After that date, we regret that we're unable to process refunds or date changes. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

In the event of very high winds or electric storms, we'll reschedule dates. If you're unable to make the new date, refunds will be available.
