The Alpine Side of Italy: An Evening with Colterenzio

Mon Oct 5, 2026 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Tria Events, 1726 Sansom Street

Guest Instructor: Letizia Pasini, Export Manager, Colterenzio Winery

Italy has a lot of personalities, and Alto Adige might be one of its most unexpected. Tucked into the Italian Alps, this is where Italian and Austrian influences meet, mountain vineyards climb dramatic slopes, and the wines are as fresh and energetic as the landscape.

Join us for an evening with Letizia Pasini, Export Manager for Colterenzio, who will lead us through the wines and stories of one of Alto Adige's most exciting producers.

Colterenzio started in 1960 with 26 local winegrowers who believed they could make better wine by working together. Today hundreds of families farm vineyards from valley floors to steep mountain slopes, producing wines that showcase the diversity of the region.

And the wines? Crisp aromatic whites, elegant reds, mountain freshness, and a precision that makes them incredibly food-friendly and downright delicious. With Letizia guiding the tasting, you'll get an insider's look at the grapes, vineyards, and alpine conditions that make Alto Adige unlike anywhere else in Italy.

Whether you already love Italian wine or have never ventured north of Tuscany, come curious. Leave with a new favorite wine region.
