Rhône Rendezvous

Thu Oct 15, 2026 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Tria Events, 1726 Sansom Street

Instructor: David McDuff, Bowler Wine

The Rhône Valley is one of France's great wine regions, but there's much more to it than Syrah and Grenache. From the steep granite slopes of the north to the sun-soaked vineyards of the south, this long, winding valley is home to an incredible range of grapes, styles, landscapes, and winemaking traditions.

Join David McDuff of Bowler Wines on Thursday, October 15 for an engaging exploration of the Rhône, tasting our way from north to south and discovering what makes each part of the region unique. We'll cover the grapes, villages, and landscapes that define the valley, from elegant Northern Rhône Syrah and aromatic whites to the generous, expressive blends of the South. David will bring his perspective as a longtime wine professional and Pennsylvania State Manager for Bowler, sharing the stories behind the producers and what makes these wines so compelling.

This is a class for anyone who loves French wine, wants to understand the Rhône a little better, or simply enjoys discovering great bottles with a good story behind them. No need to memorize every appellation or master the map. We'll take care of that part.

Come ready to taste, explore, and discover why the Rhône Valley has earned its place among France's most beloved wine regions.

One valley. Two very different personalities. Lots of great wine.
