Meet the author (Something Strange by Aiden Novinc) and the Reptiles (Emma, Canberra Snake Rescue)

Come and meet Aiden Novinc, Canberra's very own children's author, as he brings his beautiful debut book Something Strange to life!

This gorgeously illustrated rhyming story follows a brave young child as he faces his fears — perfect for little readers aged 4–11 years.

Aiden will read aloud, take questions, and chat with families in a cosy, inviting setting.

After the reading, we're thrilled to welcome Canberra Snake Rescue for a hands-on reptile show — get up close with some of Canberra's most fascinating (and possibly very strange) creatures!

We'll wrap up with craft and drawing activities inspired by the best of both worlds — design your own monster, or create your very own reptile — because sometimes the strangest things turn out to be the most wonderful.

Some nibbles will be provided — please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking.

Please get as many tickets as people will attend.

The address will be shown on your confirmation, after acquiring your ticket.
