Tom McRae,the irreverant,alternative artist. Mercury and Brit nominee. Feeder of robins,writer of songs. 

A man you can’t put down, nor put down.  An angel singing the devil’s music.

A man who’s warmth, love,fear, and rollercoaster of emotions, spills out through his dark,dreamy,hopeful, but again dark, outtake on life,as we know it.  Expect everything and nothing.

Stark songs are cracked open with pockets of self-effacing anecdotes of life as a true troubadour, maneoevring the pitfalls of the alleged glitz of the music business.

10 albums to his name,yet more collaborations, notably with Lowri Evans for joint album Only Skin.

What were you doing during lock-down? Tom translated the French songs of pop icon Michel Polnareff,as you do.

McRae continues to prove he is an enduring talent. His live shows have quite rightly earned him a reputation as a great performer, with a heartfelt rapport with his audience.

No stranger to the Island, having sold out the Centenary back in 2009. Arriving in a “hoolie”, playing Alphabet of Hurricanes, prophetic irony, not lost on him or his avid, loyal fans.

This very special show,concludes an exhaustive 40 date tour of the UK,Eire and Europe. A fair scutch of the venues, played for the first (and last?) time thanks to recommendations from his more rural fans.

Making his debut at Peel Cathedral,the faithfully restored building ,that hosts Yn Cruinnaght annually,already has some big productions pencilled in for 2025.
