Find Your People. Tell Your Story: A Beginner-Friendly Genealogy Workshop
Whether you're completely new to genealogy or have already started building your family tree, this live online workshop will help you see family history in a whole new way.
Together, we'll look beyond names and dates to explore how genealogists use historical records, photographs, newspapers, and other evidence to uncover the lives behind a family tree. Along the way, you'll learn practical research strategies, avoid common pitfalls, and discover that every answer often leads to an even better question.
In this workshop, you'll learn to:
- Start (or continue) your research without feeling overwhelmed
- Think like a genealogist by asking better questions
- Evaluate historical records with greater confidence
- Search more effectively using names, dates, places, and relationships
- Look beyond names and dates to uncover the stories waiting to be discovered
No previous genealogy experience is required. Whether you're just beginning or picking up where you left off, you'll leave with practical tools, greater confidence, and a fresh perspective on your own family history.
