Tropik Vybe Dance Company empowers through Latin Social Dance with a strong focus on Salsa On2/Mambo. Our structured and progressive training builds technique, musicality, lead/follow connection and relationship, and—most importantly—confidence both on and off the dance floor, while honoring the Afro-Latin roots and culture behind the movement.

More than just dance, our Dallas based classes promote strength, mobility, and overall health and wellness, offering a way to stay active and healthy while connecting with others and building community. Our programs welcome ALL LEVELS, from first-time social dancers to seasoned performers, within a progressive, supportive, and inclusive environment where dancers feel seen, encouraged, guided, and connected.

Throughout our progressive social dance programs, you’ll develop strong foundations in timing, body movement, lead & follow technique, partner work, spins & turns, styling, drills, and more—all while building strong understanding, confidence, connection, and musicality. Our experienced instructors, coaches, and staff provide a fun, supportive, and structured environment designed to help you feel and see real progress!

✨HOW TO RSVP✨

SELECT ONLY ONE (1) OF THE TICKETS TYPES:
BEGINNER - I want to begin in the Level 1 Fundamental Classes ONLY.
OR
EVALUATION REQUEST - I want to be evaluated in-person at Open Enrollment by the Directors & Instructors for Levels 2-5 (Beginner through Advanced)

✨WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU WALK IN✨

1. STAFF READY TO HELP YOU CHECK-IN
As soon as you walk in, staff will be ready to help get you checked-in, seated, and comfortable.

2. CONTRACT & PROGRAM OVERVIEW
At 12:00 PM a brief overview of the Membership Contract will be led by Tropik Vybe's Main Directors covering important information, including:

• Tuition & payment options
• Semester schedule
• Uniform requirements
• Staff & Instructors
• Registration & Level Placement Information
  

3. IN-PERSON EVALUATIONS
Students will be divided into groups and rotated through improvised social dances focused on your ability and level in which you maintain Salsa On2 timing and connect/adapt to different partners. Both current semesters students and brand new student wanting to join will be evaluated by levels in the order below:

1. Current Intermediate Team
2. Intermediate TRYOUTS
3. Current Advanced Beginner Team
4. Advanced Beginner TRYOUTS
5. Current Fundamental & Beginner Team

✅ Students are evaluated by all Tropik Vybe instructors to help ensure fair and accurate placement.
✅ You will know which level(s) you qualify for before registering.
⚠️ Beginner students joining the program do not need to be evaluated at their first Open Enrollment, but they must attend until they are released for registration.

4. REGISTRATION, QUESTIONS & SHOPPING
Throughout the evaluations, students will be released in groups to complete registration, ask questions, shop for apparel, and speak with our Managers, Instructors, and Front Desk Team.
