Candlelight and Craft: An evening of natural skincare gift making for Christmas

A quieter evening session, made for the run up to Christmas.

In this evening session we will make natural creams and lip balms from botanical ingredients and essential oils. Working with natural oils, salts, butters and botanicals, you will choose from an array of beautiful natural scents and discover the secrets of crafting your own homemade botanical skincare collection.

Together we will blend your very own rich hand and body cream, made from natural ingredients and essential oils and finish with creating a soothing balm.

You will come away with enough to wrap and give and one or two to keep back for yourself.

Who it is for

Suitable for complete beginners and a warm, sociable way to make handmade Christmas gifts. No experience is needed. This is an adult workshop, with a minimum age of 18.

How to prepare

There is nothing you need to bring. Because we work with natural ingredients and essential oils, please tell us in advance about any skin sensitivities or allergies and if you are pregnant, so that we can adjust where needed.

Your host

Aimee and Alice lead these sessions together. Both started making their own natural skincare out of a desire to use fewer synthetic ingredients and work more closely with the natural world. They love sharing just how simple and satisfying it is to make by hand.

Everything we make is created by you for your own use or to give as a gift, rather than for sale. We recommend a small patch test before using your products and following the simple guidance we give you on the day.
