Certified True Texan Youth Training-Central Texas

True Texas Project's "Certified True Texan" training has trained hundreds of Texans across the state on the ins and outs of being effective and responsible citizens.  We believe a grassroots army should be a well-trained army, and we are devoted to training activists to be the best they can be.

We’re now proud to announce our next Certified True Texan Training for YOUTH, focused on teaching younger Texans from 6th-12th grade the basics of Texas history, governance, and conservative activism.  This session will include a youth version of all 5 of the Certified True Texan classes. At the completion of all 5 sessions, participants earn their Certified True Texan Liberty Passport and a free CTT Youth T Shirt.

This session of Youth CTT Classes will be held in the Cental Texas Area at 1501 Leander Drive, Leander, TX 78641.  All 5 classes will be done in one Saturday.  Lunch will be on your own.  You can go to a nearby restaurant in the area, or you are also welcome to bring a sack lunch and eat in the classroom.

**Family & Friends:  The Special "I'm a Certified True Texan" shirts are free to the youth who are registered, but are also available for purchase.  Select "Purchase a CTT Shirt" when registering.  NOTE:  last day to purchase a T Shirt will be Nov. 14.  

Class Descriptions:

True Texas Project 101 - Who we are, what we do, and why we do it, led by TTP CEO and founders, Julie & Fred McCarty.

Constitutional Bootcamp – Learn the basics of the Constitution and why our Constitution has been so successful for so long, presented by Julie McCarty, CEO of True Texas Project.

Citizen Advocate Training – Become an effective citizen advocate at every level of government, presented by Fran Rhodes, TTP President.

True Texas Liberty – Understand the basics of our American economic system and how it compares to things like woke capitalism, fascism, nationalism, socialism, and communism, presented by Bill Peacock, owner of Tortilla Consulting, Director of Public Policy at the Energy Alliance, and Researcher for Huffines Liberty Foundation.

Elections and Campaigns – Learn what it takes to help someone run for office, or maybe one day do it yourself!   We'll prepare you to be future legislators, and in the mean time, teach you how to help get good folks elected to office.  This class is led by Candidate Specialist Justin Maloney.

Adults and siblings not participating in the training but sticking around while your teen trains, please register as an observer.
