TEXAS TOUGH!
Texas Tough!
Celebrating the tough spirit of Texians past & present, surrounding the day we won our independence at San Jacinto!
At True Texas Project, we bring you great speakers all year at our monthly meetings, at many of our social events, and of course at our popular conferences. So for our gala, we made a bold decision: NO SPEAKERS! Why? Because we've heard your feedback. You want to have fun with your patriot friends and enjoy a party, not listen to more talking! And you know, we do have a reputation for throwing a good party...
Announcing: Texas Tough... with a Hee Haw twist!
Yes, we'll still have the fancy dinner and the chance to dress up. But we're kicking up the energy a notch with a comedy show and musical revue you're gonna love. And to go along with that, we're bringing in a traditional county fair. Mmm... be a judge in a peach cobbler contest... try your hand at bull riding (or just get a stationary pic!)... get a chain-stitched souvenir handkerchief... gather friends for a fun caricature drawing... and see who has the fastest gun in the West (is it YOU?). Plus we'll have live music, corn hole on the lawn, lots of dancing, and of course our annual fireworks show and shooting off the replica "Twin Sisters" cannons, just like the ones Texians used to kick ol' Santa Anna to the curb way back in 1836. Come celebrate your Texas independence with all your True Texan friends!
