We believe that describes True Texans perfectly! At True Texas Project, we celebrate that tough, proud spirit every year by celebrating Victory at San Jacinto - the day Texas won her independence! Are you a True Texan? Join us!

True Texans are TOUGH, and they are PROUD! We work hard, and we play hard. Here’s what we have in store for you….

• An old-fashioned quick draw contest. Who will be the best quick draw shooter and win the prize? Contest open to all those who attend. No fee!
• Nationally-known, often-requested, and in-demand speakers including Constitutionalist and TTP favorite Kris-Anne Hall
• Also featuring news correspondent, journalist, and Emmy winner Lara Logan
• Opened and MC’d by comedian Brad Stine, the Unapologetic American
• Dinner, Fun & Fellowship with True Texans
• FIREWORKS!
  
• AND… the Twin Sisters (Note: there will be a silent auction for who gets to set these off THAT NIGHT)! If you don’t know their role in Texas history, you will soon!

Become a “Certified” True Texan the weekend of Texas Tough!  We’re offering 4 of the 5 required classes to be a “Certified True Texan” while you're in town for our gala -- FREE!  Need to understand more about Certified True Texans? Watch this short video.

1. Friday, April 22; 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm - Citizen Advocate Training- the popular 4 hour class about being an effective Citizen Advocate.  Facilitated by Fran Rhodes, with a team of guest speakers including Rebekah Hardy, Senator Konni Burton, Tim Hardin, and Cary Cheshire.
2. Saturday, April 23; 8:30 - 9”30 - Campaigns and Elections - Learn what it takes to run for office, or to help someone else do it.  Our instructor is an experienced and knowledgeable campaign consultant and strategist, Matt Armstrong.
3. Saturday, April 23;  9:45 - 10:45 - TTP 101 - Who we are, what we do, and why we do it.  Instructors are Julie & Fred McCarty, founders of True Texas Project, CEO and PAC President
4. Saturday April 23;  11:00 - 12:00 - Texas Liberty - The difference between Capitalism, Woke Capitalism, Socialism, and Communism.  Instructor is Tim Hardin, with Texans for Fiscal Responsibility

Classes will be held at the Marriott, DFW North, Highway 114 and Freeport Parkway, Irving on Friday April 22, or Saturday April 23.
