FAQs
Nb. All venue information will be provided after booking.
When do we need to arrive by on the Friday? You will need to arrive any time between 2pm and either 9pm or sunset, whichever is earlier.
What time do we have to check out on the Sunday? If you’re on a grass pitch, check-out is 1pm. Check-out for pre-erected tents is 11am.
Are there any rules? Yes – please be aware that the campsite will be open to other campers outside of our group. If anyone within the group behaves in a way that may disturb other campers, you will be asked to leave immediately.
Do you allow cars on the field? No, however the car park is right next to the paddock and wheelbarrows will be provided to transport your things. For anyone requiring direct access to their vehicle for mobility reasons, please contact us in advance so we can work with the venue on this. Additional vehicles can be park in the free car park in the nearby village a short walk away.
Can we have barbecues? Yes – these need to be raised off the ground and the venue can supply a few bricks if needed, along with grills for fire pits.
Can we have campfires? Yes, the venue sell sustainable coppiced ash firewood at £8 a bag). Campfires must be off the ground. You can bring your own firepit, or hire them at the venue for £10.
Can we bring a caravan, campervan or motor home? There is a small designated space for campervans/motorhomes, but unfortunately caravans are not permitted due to the venues planning permission. Please contact BEN SWEET if you would like to make a booking for a campervan so we can manage numbers with the venue.
Do I have to be a Truffle Dog Club member to attend this event? Yes, this event is exclusively available for Truffle Dog Club members. If you're not currently a member, it's easy to join (and still free to do so). Sign up at https://truffleforager.com/. The event may be opened up to the wider public at a later date if there is still availability.
