Back by popular demand — The Truffle Dog Club Camping Retreat 2026. Two nights camping off-grid with great people, fire-cooked food, dogs and a lot of talk about truffles. Leave the noise behind and come and make memories with or without your dog — and new friends around the fire.

What’s included:

✦ 2 nights stay - BYO tent or campervan/motorhome (spaces are limited for the latter). 
✦ A woodland walk with other Truffle Dog Club members (with or without your dog!)
✦ Comfortable pre-pitched canvas tents with basic bedding are available to hire for an additional £40pp (limited availability, dogs not permitted inside).
✦ 2 fire-cooked evening meals (Veg options available). 
✦ 2 freshly cooked breakfasts plus tea & coffee.
✦ Experience off-grid camping with hot showers and clean eco-friendly facilities.
✦ Communal Kadai firepit – the heart of the weekend with fireside chats under the full moon 🌑🔥
✦ Walking trails and country pubs nearby.
✦ A welcoming community of truffle dog lovers.

What’s NOT included:

✦ Electricity. Bring battery packs and enjoy being off-grid. 
✦ Extra drinks/alcohol or hot beverages (breakfast drinks are included - BYO alcohol).
✦ Pub Lunch on the Saturday (campfires and BBQs are allowed).  
✦ Tent side parking on the fields. 
✦ Practical dog training workshops or any formal kind of training/talks. 
✦ Refrigeration or freezer facilities.

• Under -18s = Free 

*Under 18s must be with an adult attendee. Food and drinks can be PAYG.

*This event is exclusively available to existing Truffle Dog Club members only (and any children they might bring). 

*All under-18s are free when accompanied by an adult - and you can buy food as you go in this case.

*Pre-pitched canvas tents are available on request (with fresh bedding included - dogs are not permitted inside).

*Bitches in season may be present but as a group we'll manage the situation appropriately. If you feel it's not sensible to bring your in season bitch, you may come without your dog or request a ticket transfer/refund.

*If you choose to sleep off-site the price per person is the same. 

FAQs 

Nb. All venue information will be provided after booking. 

When do we need to arrive by on the Friday? You will need to arrive any time between 2pm and either 9pm or sunset, whichever is earlier.

What time do we have to check out on the Sunday? If you’re on a grass pitch, check-out is 1pm. Check-out for pre-erected tents is 11am.

Are there any rules? Yes – please be aware that the campsite may be open to other campers outside of our group during our stay. If anyone within the group behaves in a way that may disturb other campers, you will be asked to leave immediately.

Do you allow cars on the field? Yes, but along the near side outer edge only as you drive in. This will be quite close to our general camping area (approx. 50m - 70m).

Can we have barbecues? Yes – these need to be raised off the ground and the venue can supply a few bricks if needed, along with grills for fire pits.

Can we have campfires? Yes. We will have a big communal campfire, but you're also welcome to hire your own extra ones from the site. 

Can we bring a caravan, campervan or motor home? There is a small designated space for campervans/motorhomes, but unfortunately caravans are not permitted due to the venues planning permission. Please contact BEN SWEET if you would like to make a booking for a campervan so we can manage numbers with the venue. 

Do I have to be a Truffle Dog Club member to attend this event? Yes, this event is exclusively available for Truffle Dog Club members. If you're not currently a member, it's easy to join (and still free to do so). Sign up at https://truffleforager.com/. The event may be opened up to the wider public at a later date if there is still availability.
