Darkness to Light: Music by Rutter and Fauré

Truro Choral Society is joined by musicians from Truro Philharmonia, organist Alfie Beston, and soloists Taylor London and Charlie Murray for what promises to be a contemplative and relaxing evening of fine music. 

Fauré’s Requiem, long regarded as a masterpiece, adopts a serene and consoling tone with its emphasis on peace and comfort. Rutter’s Requiem has become one of the most performed choral pieces of the late 20th century with its accessible harmonies and melodic beauty.

Doors open: 6:45pm

The nave and side aisles are accessible by the ramp at the west (front) entrance. A free Accompanying Carer’s ticket can be booked for those with proof of receipt of Attendance Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or Disability Living Allowance.
