As the final candles of Christmas begin to fade and the winter nights draw in, Tudor Feasts invites you to one last glorious celebration before the festive season comes to an end.

On Saturday 9th January 2027, step through the doors of the magnificent Chilham Hall and be transported five centuries into the past for a night of feasting, merriment and Tudor splendour.

For the Tudors, Twelfth Night was not simply another festive gathering. It was the greatest celebration on the Tudor calendar. A night when music filled the halls, tables groaned beneath the weight of food, and rich and poor alike embraced one final burst of revelry before returning to the routines of everyday life.

Your evening begins at 7.00pm with a warm welcome and a steaming cup of mulled cider or mulled apple juice as you gather amongst fellow courtiers in one of Kent’s most breathtaking historic settings.

Then, to the fanfare of the Court, King Henry VIII and his fifth Queen, Kathryn Howard, will make their grand entrance, signalling the official start of the Twelfth Night celebrations.

The tables will be laden with an abundance of Tudor-inspired delights. Pies, tarts, meats, fish, freshly baked breads, cheeses and sweet treats will await you, with plentiful options for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike. As you feast, Tudor music, dancing and festive entertainment will bring the hall to life around you.

This is far more than a dinner.
