The Relief Printing with Stencils workshop with Peter McLean will combine relief printmaking from woodblocks and paper stencils to explore layered colour. Through this process simple steps can produce rich and complex images on paper.

Conceived as a one-off taster, this workshop is an opportunity to try wood block printing ahead of a six-week masterclass taking place during Term 3, from 6–8.30pm Tuesday 6 August – Tuesday 10 September.

For safety, participants are asked to wear closed shoes and bring an old shirt or apron to protect your clothes. Please also bring your own drinking bottle and snack. Tea and coffee will be available.
