Tungaloy-NTK Technical Day @ SolidCAM, Barnsley - TUE 29th APRIL 8.30am-12.00pm

You are invited to join us at the Tungaloy-NTK Technical Day, partnered and hosted by SolidCAM, at their facility in Barnsley on Tuesday 29th APRIL 2025.

The SolidCAM facility houses a Mazak CV5-500 5 axis machining center, and a Star SD-26 type E. 

This event has been created to demonstrate some of Tungaloy and NTK's fantastic products, with optimized machining by SolidCAM.

8:30-9:00 Welcome Tea/Coffee & Breakfast Rolls and networking

9:00-9:10 Introduction from Tungaloy-NTK and SolidCAM

9:10-9:50 DEMO 1- Milling and Drilling Demo on Super Duplex (D2 also available), with overview of products and programming.

Featured products: DoFeed, MillQuadFeed, DrillMeister, plus many more.

9:50-10.00 Tea & Coffee Break

10:00-10:50 DEMO 2- Sliding Head Demo on Stainless steel, with overview of featured products and programming.

Featured products: Tungaloy’s Small-Part Machining range, plus many of NTK’s Small-Parts products including TMV Chipbreaker,

10:50-11:00 Tea & Coffee Break

11:00-12:00 ⭐STAR OF THE SHOW: Milling and Drilling Demo on INCO 718/625, with overview of featured products and programming.

Machining Inconel part using, Carbide tooling V Ceramic tooling, with overview of featured products and programming.

DEMO 3 - 32mm Dia DoFeed & 63mm Dia MillQuadFeed 

DEMO 4 - 32mm 5 pocket NTK New JRF Indexable Ceramic System & 50mm 7 pocket NTK New JRF sell mill cutter that hasn't even been released yet!

We also have SX3 Sialon ceramic & revolutionary material for machining heat resistant alloys JX3 BIDEMICS available to run, if the machine can reach the speeds required to reach optimum performance.
