Elma Labrador Çimen

📣 Türkiye Mozaik Foundation is delighted to host the acclaimed Turkish production Elma Labrador Çimen to London for a special one-night performance, with proceeds supporting our Ageing and Caregiver Support Fund.

About the Play

"A person is made of memories but the ones we choose to hold onto can be strange indeed."

Adapted from Matthew Seager’s award-winning play In Other Words, Elma Labrador Çimen follows a couple looking back on fifty years together as they navigate Alzheimer’s, the music that shaped their lives, and the memories and love that remain.

The play reunites acclaimed actors Engin Hepileri and Nergis Öztürk on stage for the first time since Akciğer (Lungs). Directed by Onur Ünsal, the 75-minute performance features original music by Kenan Doğulu.

The production has received six theatre awards, including Play of the Year and Actor of the Year from the Theatre Critics Association, as well as Best Actor, Best Actress, Actor of the Year and a Special Awareness Award from Türkiye’s leading theatre award organisations.

Supporting a Meaningful Cause

All net proceeds from the evening will support Türkiye Mozaik Foundation's Ageing and Caregiver Support Fund, launched in 2026 to protect the rights of older people, support caregivers, and promote active and inclusive ageing across Türkiye.
