‘How do YOU diverge?’ - A panel talk on Neurodivergent Identity and creativity
With Eden Plummer, Grace Attlee, and Ted Rogers
This talk invites Neurodivergent locals to reflect on and celebrate their Neurodivergence, exploring how it enriches their everyday experiences and inspires creative expression.
Together, they’ll challenge reductive narratives and share the joy, complexity, and depth of Neurodivergent life.
Meet The Panellists
Eden Plummer – they/them
Eden is a Black, nonbinary, AuDHDer. They have a degree in Biological Sciences and specialise in Ecology and mammals. Their knowledge is multifaceted as they have researched and taken courses on many of their hyperfocuses throughout life. In their free time, they like to play games, watch fantasy and sci-fi shows, learn about decolonial ways to live and engage in community, and seek joy in nature. You will find Eden on the dancefloor or cozy at home with a hot chocolate.
Grace Attlee – she/her/they
https://www.graceattlee.com/collage
Grace is an artist, facilitator, creative producer, and mentor with 15 years of experience connecting the dots between illustration, youth work, nature, tech, activism and creative writing. She is interested in diverse modes of communication, whether through comics, sound, improvisation and writing, and has facilitated regular courses for neurodivergent people exploring these as tools for regulation and expression. Grace is Studio Director at Translating Nature and ShapedSound, currently helping to develop sonic, vibrating furniture for neuro-inclusive workspaces.
Ted Rogers – they/them
Ted Rogers is a multidisciplinary artist whose work pulses with vulnerability and spirit.
Their expression spans performance, nightlife, drag, dance, and visual art, infused with the urgency of a neurodivergent and non-binary lens. Trained in musical theatre and shaped by London’s queer club scene, Ted's work explores expulsion, failure, intensity, spaciousness, and the sacred mess of being human.
Now based at TKE Studios in Margate, Ted is diving into drawing and painting which mirrors the rawness and intuition of their movement-based work.
Ted has been residing in Margate since 2015, with one of their main motivations for relocating, to be somewhere with more space and a less overwhelming environment. They have spent the last decade building a sensorally pleasurable existence, occasionally sharing their home for introvert led activities including “Thought Palace” (a shared space for silent parallel play) and Crumpet Mornings (a drop in day-time kind of social where food is the main offering).
Quiet spaces
If you need a breather or a space to regulate yourself, access to the outside area will be available throughout the day. During the afternoon, a quiet room will be available.
