Join us after hours for a tour of Please awake – asked Nature kindly with artist Hulda Guzmán, and exhibition curator, Melissa Blanchflower. 

Step into the vibrant, immersive world of Hulda Guzmán and explore the ideas and inspirations behind her captivating works. Melissa will share insights into the artist’s creative process, use of materials, and the themes that shape the exhibition, offering a closer look at how the show came together. After the tour, stay for a complimentary drink and enjoy the chance to continue the conversation.


About Melissa Blanchflower

Melissa Blanchflower is Senior Curator at Turner. Since taking up the role, she has worked with Beatriz Milhazes, Mark Leckey, Anya Gallaccio, Bridget Riley, and curated the first Sunley Window Commission with Cassi Namoda. Prior to this, she spent eight years as a curator at Serpentine curating notable projects including exhibitions of Kamala Ibrahim Ishag, Jennifer Packer, Faith Ringgold, Christo and Jeanne-Claude and Rose Wylie, which won the Sky Arts Award for Visual Art in 2018, as well as Hilma af Klint and Emma Kunz.
