Join acclaimed writer, critic and curator Martin Gayford at Turner for a special evening exploring the work and ideas of David Hockney.
A longstanding friend and collaborator of David Hockney, Martin Gayford brings a rare and personal insight into the life and work of one of the most influential artists of our time. Speaking in front of Hockney's 27th April 2020, No.1 at Turner Contemporary, Gayford will explore the artist's remarkable career, his distinctive way of seeing and creating, and the many conversations they have shared about art over the years.
The talk will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing. Visitors are also invited to enjoy refreshments, with the bar open before and after the event.
