🛡️ SAFEGUARDING FOR TUTORS: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Do you know what to look out for?
Would you know what to do if something didn’t feel right?
Are your safeguarding procedures up to date?
And, importantly… are you doing enough?

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and as a tutor, you have an important role to play in keeping children and young people safe.

Join Tutors Alliance Scotland for an online Safeguarding for Tutors session, where we’ll take a practical look at the key things every tutor should know.

🔹 What safeguarding means for tutors
🔹 What you should have in place
🔹 Recognising signs and concerns
🔹 What to do if a child or young person shares something with you
🔹 Your responsibilities as a tutor
🔹 Common safeguarding questions and scenarios
🔹 Are you confident that your current safeguarding practice is enough?

✨ This session will also give you a taster of the safeguarding training provided by Tutors Alliance Scotland, giving you an insight into what our full training covers and why safeguarding should be a priority for every tutor.

📅 Sunday 13th September
⏰ 6.30pm – 7.30pm
💻 Online

Come along, test your knowledge, ask questions and make sure you’re confident in knowing what to do when it matters.

Because safeguarding isn’t just about ticking a box — it’s about knowing what to do. 🛡️
