That's a good question, and the answer is probably not. From obscure native grapes to a confusing wine quality control system to terms such as "Super Tuscan," how does one start to learn about the wines of Italy?

By attending this class, that's how! We'll demystify the whole subject for you, giving you a strong foundation of knowledge when it comes to Veneto, Piedmont (including Barolo and Barbaresco), Tuscany (including Chianti and "Super Tuscans"), and even the south, including Puglia and Basilicata. Comprehensive maps and handouts will include hints and tips for producers and grape varieties to seek out, and insider's info on current vintages. 

And, of course, we'll be tasting a range of incredible wines!
