Twin Cities Wine Education brings wine classes to Saint Paul's Café Latte!
Pinot Noir Challenge: Willamette vs. Burgundy
Tuesday, August 13th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
$65 per person
We're overjoyed to bring TCWE to Saint Paul, where we'll be at one of our favorite destinations: Café Latte on Grand Avenue!
In this special blind-tasting class, we are putting the two greatest regions for Pinot Noir to the test: Burgundy and Willamette Valley (don't tell my California friends I said that: ;)
This will be a night to remember. We'll start with a deep dive into Pinot Noir, led by Jason Kallsen and special guest Tim Wilson of Denison Cellars of Willamette Valley. We'll talk about farming, terroir, weather changes, winemaker impact, and much more. Then it's onto the challenge: four wines, two from Willamette and two from Burgundy. We'll taste individually and together, rating the wines as we go, and determining the winner.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn a ton about one of the world's great grapes and sharpen your tasting skills.
