We're overjoyed to bring TCWE back to the western suburbs of MSP to one of our favorite destinations: The Vine Room in Hopkins, Minnesota!

Join us for a great evening of wine education with sommelier Jason Kallsen.

In this deep-dive class, we'll discuss on of the most misunderstood grape varieties in the world: Chardonnay.

Why are some crisp and minerally? What does "Buttery" actually mean, and how does it happen? Why are so many wine snobs anti-Chardonnay (wrongly, I might add)?

We'll approach the topic from three directions: in the vineyard (talking about the top regions in the world and what makes them different), in the winery (with special guest Tim Wilson of Denison Cellars), and in the glass.

This is the most comprehensive Chardonnay class available, and we hope you can join us. Seating is very limited.

The Vine Room will have cheese and charcuterie boards available for sale, and all wines can be ordered through The Vine Shop next door.

About the venue

The Vine Room was founded by Ali Hanson, whom we met when she was our wine student ten years ago. Even then, she had a clear vision of what she wanted to create for the local wine community: a fun, bright, good vibes-inducing destination for wine lovers. She's achieved that, and then some, including opening The Vine Shop next door. Ali was also selected as a 40 Under 40 Honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in 2022!🥂 Snap!
