Twin Cities Wine Education presents a new class format!
Pour and Explore #1: Willamette Valley!
Join us for a new style of wine class unlike all others. Our new POUR AND EXPLORE series gives you a great wine class PLUS incredible access to a wide variety of amazing wines and information in a fun and informal setting.
We'll start the evening with a wine class with tons of information, maps, hints, tips, and more. The class is a condensed class (with a glass in hand, of course), covering core information in a fast and fun format. This will be approximately a half hour.
Then, after the class is done, we enjoy an at-your-own-pace exploration of the topic with over a dozen wines being poured by the top independent wine vendors in the Twin Cities. We'll have tables staffed by experts on the topic of the night, giving you wide access to an incredible range of products.
POUR and EXPLORE #1: WILLAMETTE VALLEY
We're picking Willamette Valley for our inaugural Pour and Explore for two reasons. First, the following week we are leading tours in the region with a bunch of great students, so this is a way for us to get excited. Secondly, February 22nd is EYRIE DAY, celebrating the day the David Lett of Eyrie Vineyards planted the very first Pinot Noir vines in Willamette. In fact, 2025 is the 60th anniversary of that momentous moment.
So for this tasting, we'll have one table completely dedicated to Eyrie Vineyards, pouring the full range of what they have in the market today. On the other table we'll have a super cool collection of wines from the likes of St. Innocent, Vincent Winery, Domaine Drouhin Oregon, Argyle Winery, Le Cadeau, and many more.
During the tasting, Jason and Angela will 'work the room' answering any and all questions you have.
We hope you can join us for the new and exciting format!
