Twin Cities Wine Education presents a new class format!

Pour and Explore #4: RIOJA!

Join us for a new style of wine class unlike all others. Our new POUR AND EXPLORE series gives you a great wine class PLUS incredible access to a wide variety of amazing wines and information in a fun and informal setting.

We'll start the evening with a wine class with tons of information, maps, hints, tips, and more. The class is a condensed class (with a glass in hand, of course), covering core information in a fast and fun format. This will be approximately a half hour.

Then, after the class is done, we enjoy an at-your-own-pace exploration of the topic with over a dozen wines being poured by the top independent wine vendors in the Twin Cities. We'll have tables staffed by experts on the topic of the night, giving you wide access to an incredible range of products.

POUR and EXPLORE #4: RIOJA
Rioja has seen more transformation in the last thirty years than most wine regions in Europe. New laws, new labeling, climate change, new terroirs, and new styles have emerged. Join us to get up to date while tasting through a dozen incredible wines.

We'll start with an overview of the new laws combined with a discussion on old style vs. new style wines (and debate if that's even a thing anymore). We'll also cover the new sparkling wines and white wines which are leading this resurgence.

Then we'll take our time tasting through a range of wines poured by some of the top wine pros in the cities, giving you time to ask questions, explore styles, and take notes on your favorites.

During the tasting, Jason and Angela will 'work the room' answering any and all questions you have.
