France is the heartbeat of the wine world—home to many of the styles, grapes, and traditions that shape how we talk about wine today. Yet to many wine drinkers, France can feel intimidating. Complicated labels, unfamiliar regions, and assumptions about price can make it all seem out of reach. Let’s change that.

In this welcoming and engaging class, we’ll take a guided journey through the major wine regions of France and decode what makes each one special. We’ll explore the elegance of Burgundy, the bold structure of Bordeaux, the sun-kissed flavors of the Rhône, the crisp freshness of the Loire Valley, the sparkling magic of Champagne, and more. Along the way we’ll break down the why behind the wines—how climate, grape variety, and culture shape what’s in the glass.

You’ll gain practical, real-world knowledge to help you understand French wine labels, shop with confidence, and recognize styles that match your taste. Most importantly, you’ll taste a fantastic range of wines that show the amazing diversity of France—from bright whites to graceful rosés to complex, layered reds.
