Twin Cities Wine Education presents a new class format!

Pour and Explore: Athenee Imports & the Greek Wine Moment You've Been Missing

Join us for a style of wine class unlike any other. Our POUR AND EXPLORE series gives you a great wine class PLUS incredible access to a wide variety of outstanding wines and information in a fun and informal setting.

We'll start the evening with a wine class that includes information, maps, hints, tips, and more. The class is condensed (with a glass in hand, of course) and will cover core information in a fast and fun format. It will last approximately half an hour.

After the mini-class, we enjoy an at-your-own-pace exploration of the topic, with over a dozen wines poured by top independent wine vendors in the Twin Cities. We'll have tables staffed by experts on the night's topic, giving you broad access to an incredible range of products.

Pour & Explore: Athenee Imports & the Greek Wine Moment You've Been Missing

Greece is having its wine moment — and honestly, it's about time.

While the rest of the world was busy arguing about natural wine and orange wine and whatever wine Twitter invented this week, Greek winemakers have been quietly doing something extraordinary: making world-class wines from grape varieties that have been growing in the Aegean sun for three thousand years. Assyrtiko. Xinomavro. Agiorgitiko. These aren't trends. They're ancient, they're electric, and they are absolutely ready for your glass in 2026.

Athenee Imports has been one of the most passionate champions of artisan Greek wine in the market, and we've handed them the floor for our next Pour & Explore.

You know the drill — we start seated, diving deep into the wines with guided commentary that actually teaches you something. Then the floor opens up and you go wherever your curiosity takes you, glass in hand, with Athenee's people right there to pour and talk your ear off in the best possible way.

Come ready to be surprised. Come ready to ditch whatever preconceptions you had about Greek wine. Come ready to discover your next obsession.

Opa optional, but encouraged.
