Twin Cities Wine Education presents VINO ITALIANO 2026, a celebration of Italian wines.
Italian Wine and Cheese Off The Beaten Path
Most wine lovers know Parmigiano-Reggiano, Pecorino, Chianti, and Prosecco. But Italy's true magic often lies beyond the familiar.
Join sommelier Jason Kallsen for an evening devoted to the lesser-known corners of Italy's extraordinary cheese and wine culture. Together, we'll explore a selection of intriguing wines and artisan cheeses from regions, grapes, and traditions that rarely receive the spotlight they deserve. Some may come from remote mountain valleys, isolated islands, or tiny villages where ancient techniques continue to thrive today.
Along the way, you'll discover how geography, culture, and local ingredients have shaped Italy into one of the most diverse culinary destinations on earth. Most importantly, you'll taste firsthand why some of the country's most memorable wine and cheese experiences are often the ones you've never heard of before.
Come curious, bring your sense of adventure, and prepare to add a few new favorites to your repertoire.
Event includes five outstanding wines and four under-the-radar cheese selections.
